I like to have my art journal sitting open at the blank page as I'm working on other paintings, so I can try things on an impulse. Today the impulse came from my aversion to waste (I'm of Scottish descent ;-) ). I had a little puddle of frisket to use up, so I cast about for an "old dog" to improvise on (see below for a pic).
The petals are made with frisket applied with a fingertip a la Day 33, so they "resisted" the dark paint.
It's a good thing I'm not allergic to latex.
