"Red Meat". Art journal, magazine collage
It's been a while since I did a magazine collage. They tend to be time-consuming. But earlier in the year I did a few and found them to be a good way of expressing my feelings. This evening I decided to give it a try again.
I have been spending way too much time on Twitter lately, obsessing over the impending U.S. election. (Remember my vow to quit potato chip news? Ha!) It's been getting even more disturbing these past few days. I looked for images that captured that feeling.
The term "red meat" has been used to refer to things Trump says that will fire up his supporters (especially the "deplorables"). And I've seen the term "shitstorm" used on Twitter too, to describe this unbelievable campaign.
